Job Title Staff Accountant
Duration 12 months
Location Hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days off-site)
Interview Type Phone Screening and Face to Face
Jon Details :
Perform month end close procedures
o account reconciliation and analysis
o recording of standard and complex journal entries
o fixed asset accounting
o Interco accounting
o judgmental accruals
o ensuring GL integrity, timely and accurate posting to appropriate accounts
Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
2 year s experience with ability to succeed in a deadline driven and fast paced general ledger accounting environment to include performing monthly financial closings including account reconciliations.
Proven characteristics of consistent accuracy and attention to detail
Self-motivated and independent
Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational capabilities
Pro-active attitude with regard to identifying and implementing process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
Ability to analyze problems, determine and take the correct course of action and/or recommend actionable suggestions for change.
Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting
Technical Experience Requirements:
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Previous experience with an ERP system (Oracle/SAP preferred)
Understanding of GAAP
